Founded in 2016, the concept of Audiophile Day came from a person with a deep appreciation of audiophiles who noticed that they were underappreciated. This person recognized that countless jobs have been created globally and are supported by audiophiles. They also recognized that an audiophile’s passion for accurate sound reproduction can lead to great things. Audiophiles have made many valuable contributions to our world in quite a wide range of realms, including music, equipment, processes, music sources/formats, acoustics, architecture, and more.

The founder of Audiophile Day prefers to remain anonymous in order to keep the focus on audiophiles.
